Life Calls…

Day 10/52

His crush gave him a call and he couldn’t believe it

Deep down he knew he was soon to devour her to his satisfaction

Veins were restless and baseless, but the need was endless.

No law could chain the excitement he felt, as all caveats had been lifted.

Two minds with the capacity to contract had formed a consensus ad idem

Consideration was paid and so were promises made.

A call changed a life

A hidden smile was born behind the palm that covered that mouth.

Sometimes I just love the love and hype that comes with being humorous, knowing that a poem can some how put a smile on a face out there.

For this piece, we often have this thing with a close friend where we describe a pic, a moment, or an event in the most poetic terms possible (weird right? I don’t think so)šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Well, what captures my attention about this whole thing we do is the fun in it, how free it makes us feel, and that is the essence of poetry, letting you fly and sore.

And like I’ve always stressed it, poetry has much to do with a poet’s feelings than anything else, but still, no matter what you feel, a little humor can’t hurt your reader, and every once in a while, it keeps them in the game, just like it does to you.
